Table of Contents Research
- Table of contents pages is created to allow the reader to easily find important sections in the magazine.
- My table of content will be a one-page spread.
- They are usually organized in the order that the stories appear in the magazine. Contents should be organized in subsections and in page order.
The three examples above are my favorite. I like the simplicity of each page. They have simple font and numbering and a photo that represents the magazine.

Preliminary Task: Cover Page
When I began doing my cover I uploaded on canva the best picture I took on photoshoot day 1 and it fit perfectly and was everything I had envisioned. I already knew more or less what headlines I would be using for my cover, what I wanted my masthead to look like (font included), the picture I was going to use, and more or less the colors I would include. The hardest part of putting together my cover was figuring out the fonts and font sizes.
The final product of my cover is everything I could've imagined when starting this magazine and initially for the cover I wanted a totally different look. I wanted two girls on the cover but nonetheless, I'm so happy with the way it came out.Sunday, December 6, 2020

Preliminary task: Photoshoot
I had spent two separate days taking photos for my magazine. On the first day of taking photos, I had gone to the playground and only had Lauren be my star model. The weather was perfect and it was a lot of fun.

Research Leading up to Photoshoot
Prior to assembling my photoshoot for the cover and spreads I realized that I needed to organize what I wanted and what I did not want and also the location, the models, and what poses I wanted from them. I wanted this photoshoot to be fun and quick. The models would be Melanie, Lauren, and Jonathon two young teenage girls and one teenage boy they are all very aware of women's rights and support it. I chose them specifically because they are photogenic and are natural behind the camera.
The location I wanted a white plain background and or something with a colorful background that stood out going behind a white building and going to a playground. The poses I have done extensive research on. I want to embody equality in the best way possible. I have an inspiration for what poses I want my models to do.
Also thinking of adding a male to my magazine to really embody equality and a male standing up for women's rights, and normalize a male supporting and or being a feminist.
The way I am planning to edit these pictures to get the full effect is with an app called PicsArt.
I definitely want to recreate the one picture where the two girls are laying down next to each other.
and the world one on the right side.
As to what I want my models to where anything from black and white to pink and red.
